Back to Basics: Sharing Pages

There’s no denying ZOOMcatalog is a robust tool with lots of powerful options to help you market and sell promotional products. Sometimes, though, it’s good to refresh your memory on some of our software’s simple (or even hidden) features. That’s why we’re going back to basics and focusing on one of the most useful aspects of digital marketing materials: how easy it is to share them.

When it comes to sharing pages of a ZOOMcatalog, you have three options. (Actually, there’s a fourth secret option, but you have to read all the way to the end to find out about it.)

ONE: Direct Links

Each page of a ZOOMcatalog has a unique URL. You can copy/paste these addresses to share the page with your customer. The best part: you’re directing them to a specific product, but you’re sharing the entire catalog, so you easily say something like, “Check out these insulated tumblers, and feel free to browse the rest of the book.”

Sharing direct links is always our first recommendation. It’s quick, straightforward, and gives you the most flexibility. Plus, if you share the URLs, you’ll be able to track user analytics and statistics.

TWO: Snipping Tool

You can clip out any portion of a ZOOMcatalog page with the built-in snipping tool and share it with your customers.

Just click the scissors tool on the right-hand side of your screen and then adjust the selection box to select an individual product or even the whole page.

Hit the “clip” button, and you can save the selection to your computer or email it directly from your browser tab.

Pro Tip: You can also use the snipping tool to grab product photography straight out of the catalog. Save those images to your computer and use them for your other digital campaigns.

THREE: Downloading PDFs

Of course, any ZOOMcatalog can be downloaded as a PDF. You can download a single page, or a range of pages if you want to send a small section of the catalog. Just click the download icon on the right-hand side of the page, select which page(s) you want, and click the download button.

Note: Sending a PDF is usually the last course of action we recommend since PDFs are larger files and tend to get caught in spam filters.

SECRET TIP: Page JPG

Eventually, we’ll turn this into an actual button on the page, but for now, you can snag a JPG of any page in a ZOOMcatalog by right-clicking on the page and select “copy image address.”

Paste that into a new tab, and boom, you’ve got yourself a fresh JPG of the entire page. From there, you can save or share the page as you want.
